Complimentary colors in this painting are indigo and orange. A full moon, just in time for Halloween. Southwest art with a desert and a couple of coyotes. The name is a tribute to Ozzy, of course.
CLICK PAINTING FOR A BETTER VIEW. A good exercise- use only colorless media for a couple of weeks then use really, really bright color! It did start with a black background then the galaxy emerged. Oil on canvas, 24″ x 36″.
Red and cyan next to each other make these tulips stand out. Using the opposite color on the color wheel creates a high contrast effect. Mixing the two colors together created a grey or natural black. I know it’s just flowers, but after I finished this one I kept looking at it.
One more painting all in black, white and grey. I am very happy with this one. It is 12″ x 12″
